MAKE IT MY TURN

I love you
in my stock market.
your status trades higher
than you can imagine…

Do you know
your beauty is a bully,
and my juvenile heart
an innocent victim…?

I want you, but you laugh
the playfield is not level,
for before your eyes
am a valid, valued joke…

I need you but you laugh,
for my entire personality
is based on the fact
that I am a peasant…

you were not mine
you are not mine,
I harbour no false hope
that you will ever be mine…

But my heart aches
to make you mine
a share of you,
would be my life conquest…

So I humbly ask
would you compensate the hurt
that you can’t be mine,
and make it my turn…?
